This is just a quick note to indicate that this headset works as a wired headset/microphone for the HTC EVO Shift 4G. The phone recognizes it as a headset with microphone and the sound is picked up from the boom mic (I had some trouble finding a wired headset/mic combo that worked and this fits the bill). May work with the EVO too, assuming it has the same jack configuration.I put one of my jabra eargels on it (the over-the-ear piece is removable) and it works nicely that way too. Extremely light and the boom gives good outbound voice quality that is hard to get with bluetooth.

Bought this for my droid X phone. Sound quality is horrible. Could barely hear the person on the other side. Absolute trash. The unit also does not set well on the ear. Always moving around.

On some calls I sound fine and others I'm told I sound like I have a digital voice or like a computer. I usually have a harder time hearing the people on the line than they do hearing me, wasn't expecting that? It works fine about 65% of the time, so I'm not that excited about it.
