Good for filling small waste bin

I had this headset for about 3 weeks when it started to fall apart. The rubber part that covers the speaker grill and makes it comfortable to wear seperated from the housing. That part is too small so it wont fit back in the grooves to stay put. Since that rubber peice is what holds the speaker to the housing the whole thing falls apart as a result. But then, what should I expect for so little money? Otherwise a wonderful unit and a great investment! ... ...

Excellent audio quality

In contrast to the first reviewer, we have had two of these headsets in use in our family with iPod touches, with extensive international travel on several occasions, for a combined four years, and they have performed flawlessly. The audio quality is amazingly good, far exceeding original expectations.Obviously, these first two reviews are not statistically very significant, but hopefully this review provides some balance. More reviews are needed to find out if the first reviewer had a real outlier, or if there is indeed a high rate of failure.

Works perfectly on my Droid 2 Global

I got this product after trying several headsets that did not work with my Droid 2 Global. (In most cases, I was able to hear but the other party couldn't hear me.) I was so relieved when this headset worked! I use it mostly in the car so I can talk hands free if someone calls while I'm driving.The only way it could be improved is to have just one ear piece instead of two. I don't think it's safe or advisable to drive with both ears blocked. At first I just let one of the earpieces dangle, but that sometimes got caught up in my seatbelt, so I used a little tape to "tie up" the unused earpiece. A minor inconvenience though - I'm just glad to have a headset that works!

These ear buds reaaly work well. I use them with my android phone as well as my Kindle. I didn't order them with the intension of ever using the microphone but I have found it useful with my phone.

Past meets future in this perfectly envisioned handset.

As an antique phone enthusiast, I'm always looking for the next "big thing" in smart-phone-hand-set technology. I have most of the classic models and makes that are available for the iPhone. Generally I use the traditional "PacBell" for business calls and long-distance and the "Princess" handset for personal calls and local calling (ordering food, talking to the cable company, ect.) However, my oldest son is approaching the age where he's about ready for an iPhone of his own (17 yrs). He's much less for antiques and much more for "cutting edge." But as he obviously needs a handset, I was at a loss for what would suit his needs/tastes best. The Swissvoice CH05-BL ePure Mobile Corded Handset - White/Blue ended up being the perfect fit. With a classic "handset" feel with a modern twist, this corded handset delivers in a big way. Not only is it one of the "trendiest" handsets I've come across, but it's solid construction and easy "plug and talk" design make it a dream for any father introducing his son to a handset "lifestyle." Aside from that, its one of the most fun-to-use handsets on the "market" today. Not only is it perfect for fielding calls from his many friends, but my son also loves using it when chatting with his "girlfriend" at all hours of the night! My "family" and I love this set so much, I ended up ordering one for the whole gang! Great product and a must buy!!!

Does what it needs but....

I like the initial need for this product however it doesn't work with Siri and when you try to call with headset connected it doesn't work. When you push button to make a call regardless of what "mode" it's set on the side of handset (no way of knowing because no label on handset or in directions) it will play music. If you want to make the call and then plug in then it's perfect.
