I bought this for the splitting of microphone and headphone. This is a great, lightweight, alternative to larger headsets that are commonly used for PC gaming. However, the contacts are not very high quality, and sometimes this leads to audio infidelity.

Bad quality! The Mic Doesn't work when used with original iPhone headphone.Adapter works with the provided headphone, which I bought as they were relatively cheap but sound quality of those headphone is very poor.Lot of humming sound. In the end I regret buying this product

The adpater works with a good pair of earbuds, however the mic does not work on earbuds that come with the product.
