I read the previous posters comments and I was very nevous ordering this but i was desperate. I use my BlackBerry (8900) as my primary buissnes line. I have tried all the 3.5mm headsets and none of them really perform that well even the OEM Blackbery headsets are marginal at best.not sure maybe he got a bad headset but I was relived to hear that mine worked flawlessly with great clarity and my customers can hear me without any problems. my test subject mother in law even commented I sounded better with the headset than using the handset.I'm super happy and will be ordering 2 extra backup headsets just incase something happens to this one.Thank you cellet for bringing something other than a blutooth for us guys that still like the wire system and at a great price.NEW UPDATE: Unfortunatly they no longer work with Blaberry's new OS7 system :(

I ordered a whole batch of these to use in the car and at home. I prefer the over-the-head type headset as opposed to a bluetooth or something that you put in your ear. They're okay, but spotty. Some work, some don't, with some you have to pull the jack out slightly to make the microphone work. However, they're certainly inexpensive enough to buy in quantity because eventually all headsets crap out anyway. I'd say buy at least 3 to make it worthwhile in terms of shipping.

Excellent headset! I use them at my workstation and in my car. Only "real" headset without ear buds that has a 3.5mm plug I can find. The 2.5mm to 3.5mm adapters indicate a deficiency in the 2.5mm connection design (pole radius too small?). I have gone through them like chewing gum and have resolved to never purchase anything that uses 2.5mm phone jack connections since it appears likely that I will quickly experience problems with the cord connection. Since I'm not into Bluetooth either, this headset is the only one that hits all of the required targets- windproof mike "great" sound quality, solid construction, no ear buds and has a 3.5mm plug!I wish that searches for 3.5mm Headsets only yielded hits for 3.5mm headsets. Headsets that require a 2.5mm to 3.5mm converter are NOT 3.5 mm headsets! Many of the product descriptions seem to intentionally omit the plug specification. After several years of trying to get decent performance out of 2.5mm headsets, I no longer wonder why the spec is often left out.
