By MinuteDreamer
I got my headset with the intent to use with my iPhone for running. I figured I could use the button on the headset to advance songs, and take calls while I was out, since it's difficult to access my phone when it's in its armband. The remote button has worked reasonably, it's a bit of a reach to get to, but I can click to play/pause, double-click to advance, and even hold down the button to activate voice recognition. As a set of headphones or a hands-free unit, it performs satisfactorily. Sound quality is okay, but not great. The people I've spoken to tell me the microphone is a bit hollow sounding, like I'm using a speakerphone, but it was acceptable. For outdoors use, the way the eartip sleeves are design, it really picks up a lot of wind noise, to the point where it drowns out your music. The eartip sleeves are really poorly designed, when you put them in your ear, they can pop *really* loudly because of the way they trap and release air.To summarize, I think it's a reasonable set of earphones for $22, but it is not usable outdoors when it's windy.

I think these were a great purchase and would definitely recommend them to others. For starters they're made out of stainless steel. I've had issues in the past with plastic/rubber headphones coming apart, even ones that are supposed to be decent quality, these metal ones seem pretty much indestructible. The remote and the jack housing are also metal and feel nice and solid. The drivers are 11 mm neodynium and sound great. I'm not going to claim to be an expert I can just say to me they sounded very clear with deep bass, I was very happy with the sound. The mic in my testing worked well for phone calls. It also comes with different size earplugs and a small pouch for carrying around. The best part though was the price. I have seen these same headphones going for $60, and comparable headphones going for $60-90. I paid less than 30 bucks for mine, shipped. To me this seems like a steal, I've seen some pretty crummy headphones in the under $30 category but these are very high quality - look good, sound good and feel good. For the money they're awesome.

Where do I start!? I Got this headset in the hope of getting a fairly good product (based on the price). When it arrived it looked nice with aluminium earplugs with silicon covers. The headset worked ok for a couple of weeks, nothing special sound wise. Just ok. It was a constant annoyance that the rubbery wires would tangle. They would tangle like nothing I have ever dealt with. After a couple of days of usage the little decal on the wire fell off. No big deal, but it just didn't look quite as nice anymore, and that's after just a few days usage. Then after about 2 weeks the aluminium plugs started opening up (they are made of two parts screwed together. There is not really a way to screw them together tight enough to stay together, so they would keep opening up. Eventually this caused the internal wires to break off. I had to resolder the wires back on (which is something that most people wont. can't, or have the equipment to do). I have now soldered the wires a few times. Eventually the wire inside the mini jack connector eventually broke inside the wire and the headset is no unusable and beyond repair, unless I go and buy a new mini jack and solder it on the wire. I am not prepared to invest anymore time or money in the headset at this point. Truly disappointing. I just bought a Bose headset and I love it. Don't try and save money. This headset is simply a waste.
