It's a great idea and one that freed me from the many steps I had to take just to make and drink a frothy cafe con leche. However, it has added more steps at the end with the cleaning as the carafe as it is entwined with the electrical, thus making the clean up of the pot a lengthy and challenging process as it is recommended not to immerse. If you decide to purchase, it will leave you with a pretty decent end result (although you should follow the given coffee measuring recommendation and then use your judgment if you find it too strong. The Boy likes hot cocoa and while I won't let him make it, he likes it better than the previously used method.
