DO NOT TRUST THE REVIEWS, READ BELOW.First of all, this item shocks my ear every time I place it, and it consistently shocks it. You say it's a one-time defect? OK, fine.The item is also a counterfeit of an Apple product. I am going to see if I can alert Apple regarding this - they've ripped off everything and they've done it all horribly. The slits for air to pass don't exist in this - they simply look like slits but you see the wire instead of a hole. The speakers inside the headphones actually move inside. It sounds like a broken lightbulb if you shake it.And the worst part are the reviews. These people all have "Verified purchase." Great. They were accounts created by the seller to "purchase" this product so they can place a five star review. Click on the reviewers and see their purchase history. Heck, I'm willing to bet that this seller makes additional purchases from his other stores using these "accounts" of his just to ensure some legitimacy after reading my review.Don't get scammed. Apple earpods are never this cheap. I learned the hard way.

I dropped the headphones on the counter and I tried listening to music with them but one of the sides started making some noise and just stopped playing sound and very shortly after the other side popped as well. As well these headphones are fake replicas of the real apple earbuds. I would rather go to best buy or the apple store and spend the $20 rather than spend half the price and get fake replicas that break very very easily.

I ordered this on Jan. 16th. Got it on Feb. 7th. That in itself is no big deal. The big deal though is that today is Feb.8th and the left ear bud has already come apart. A complete and total waste of money. And time. But mostly money.
